The Role
The Procurement Analyst will provide our Category Managers and overall procurement function with timely, high-quality data analysis and market insights to support strategy development, sourcing initiatives, and financial reporting. You will also support market engagement activities by developing RFx documents, reviewing supplier proposals, assisting with commercial negotiations, and creating supply award recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract and simplify complex financial, spend, and market data to build profiles and help Category Managers develop robust strategies
- Support major market engagement activities by managing RFx documents, analyzing supplier bids, and creating award recommendations
- Build procurement foundations by creating process flow diagrams, work charts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Establish and maintain a central database to track contract lifecycles, key commercial terms, rebates, and expirations
- Coordinate directly between Category Managers and Finance teams to maintain accurate, up-to-date business price lists
- Assist users with SAP Ariba, manage catalogue data, and audit spend transactions to ensure alignment with approved buying channels.
About You
- Strong understanding of procurement concepts, workflows, and operational processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends
- A proactive self-starter who takes complete ownership of outcomes and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
- Strong aptitude for workflow mapping, process optimisation, and identifying more efficient ways to manage operations
