Rebate Analyst, Bilingual 

Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking a passionate Rebate Analyst to join our Orora team!

 

Summary of Role and How You’ll Fit In

Rebate Analyst will be responsible for administering, supporting, tracking and reconciling all Customer and Supplier Rebates along with Customer specific price supports from Suppliers (chargebacks).

 

Report To:  Master Data Governance/Quality Manager
Location: Hybrid- Phoenix, AZ.

 

What Essential Duties You’ll be Responsible For

 

Essential Duties:

  • Converts existing Rebate Agreements and upload Chargeback Agreements as part of Regional SAP go-live activities.
  • Add and update Chargebacks as new agreement are reached with Suppliers.
  • Add and update Customer and Supplier Agreements 
  • Processes periodic (primarily monthly or quarterly) claims and submit appropriate paperwork to Suppliers, ensuring that they are filed timely.
  • Processes periodic (primarily monthly or quarterly) Customer and Supplier claims and settlements.
  • Coordinates Customer Rebate Payments with Accounts Payable and Strategic Account and Division Management.
  • Tracks and reconciles Supplier Rebate Payments working with Suppliers to resolve any variances.
  • Settles Chargeback payments from Suppliers; reconciles and accounts for any variances.
  • Develops report to identify any expiring agreements and communicate this to Sales Representatives and other divisional co-workers to work with them to secure and update new agreements.
  • Works with Staff Accountants to coordinate mass updates to agreements at times of product cost changes and to resolve any discrepencies that arise from Vendor settlements.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities via automation of processes or more efficient methodologies.
  • Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned.

 

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s (4-year) Degree preferred
  • Previous experience within Accounting, Finance or Supplier Management
  • Prior experience with SAP and/or Vistex a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred! 

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented and accurate with numbers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Proficient in advanced MS Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to operate individually and employ solid decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A hands-on, results-oriented approach to business with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Possess a ‘customer first’ attitude; demonstrate passionate commitment for the customer and product quality
