Shift Supervisor

The Role

We’re looking for an experience and motivated Shift Supervisor to lead our dynamic team at the Ballarat plant. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and working closely with peer shift supervisor, you'll oversee all aspects of shift operations, including performance reporting, product quality, material management, and team development. A key responsibility will be identifying and driving process improvements using strong problem-solving skills. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about manufacturing.

Shift Details: This is a shift-based role with a 12-hour rotational schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), allowing for a great work-life balance.

The Successful candidate will Demonstrate

• Skills, experience and knowledge of high-speed manufacturing.
• Proven Leadership of teams with solid performance development and management skills.
• Strong focus on driving production efficiency, meeting targets, and maintaining quality standards.
• Skilled in problem-solving and root cause analysis to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing policies and procedures.
• A commitment to safety leadership and adherence to safety protocols.
• Good business acumen and big picture thinking. 

What We are Looking For

• A qualification or trade in mechanical or electrical engineering, or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A positive attitude that drives team and business performance.
• Competent in computer systems and report writing.
