The Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Systems or Mechatronics Engineer who is an innovator with their own ideas and ready to take ownership of the role. As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. You’ll dive into analysing equipment and plant reliability, identifying system gaps, and driving improvements to enhance efficiency and machine uptime. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to exciting capital and process improvement projects, making it an ideal next step for an engineer ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, technically advanced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse production performance and machine reliability to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and determine root causes
- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance machine reliability
- Support daily plant operations and help to implement best practice across all lines
- Drive continuous improvement
- Promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace
About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Has an understanding electrical systems and PLC knowledge
- Experienced in maintenance planning, project management and Pneumatics
