Senior Corporate Accountant

The Role

The Senior Corporate Accountant will perform month-end close activities and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. They will also assist in the preparation and delivery of financial information and analysis, while providing transactional support to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities, including general ledger reconciliations, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly management reporting
• Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and appropriately allocated
• Partner with cost centre managers to support budget management, delivering monthly reporting and financial insights to inform decision-making
• Contribute to the annual budget and Corporate Strategic Plan processes, supporting the Corporate function with accurate financial inputs and analysis
• Assist with half-year and year-end statutory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Support financial systems (including HFM), maintain accounting procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and the business to improve processes and reporting outcomes

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline
• CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years’ experience in a group finance or corporate environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
• High attention to detail, complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
• Experience with SAP and HFM, highly desirable
