Senior Business Analyst

The Role

The Senior Business Analyst will drive end-to-end business process design and requirements delivery across key IT projects, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working directly between cross-functional business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, and enterprise architects, this role maps operational workflows, translates business needs into technical requirements, and embeds modern AI tools to speed up delivery. Combining practical process analysis with project coordination, this role will ensure technical solutions align with business goals and drive smooth operational adoption across our manufacturing sites and corporate functions.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in office. Occasional interstate travel will also be required in line with business needs 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, process mapping, and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to define current-state and future-state ("to-be") operational processes
• Leverage modern AI and digital enablement tools (e.g., agentic AI, Copilot) to optimize analysis workflows, drive efficiencies, and improve deliverable speed
• Translate complex business needs into clear, structured functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria while ensuring end-to-end requirement traceability through to UAT and testing
• Support project managers and delivery leads with project coordination, including milestone tracking, RAID log management, dependency tracking, and governance artifacts
• Collaborate closely with solution architects and technical leads to evaluate system, data, and integration impacts, ensuring proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture standards
• Drive business readiness, change adoption, UAT execution, user guide documentation, and hypercare support across system deployments and ERP module rollouts
• Engage actively in PMO and IT team sessions, contributing to continuous delivery improvements, process standardisation, and team culture.

About You

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Senior BA within IT delivery, enterprise transformations, or process improvement environments
• Background in manufacturing/FMCG environment
• Experience with enterprise platforms (such as SAP/ERP), requirements management, and process modelling
• Practical experience across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery, with hands-on PMO governance support
• Open-minded and comfortable leveraging modern AI tools to streamline business analysis workflows
• Strong communicator skilled at translating technical concepts for business stakeholders to drive change
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured with the drive to navigate ambiguity and deliver outcomes
