Payroll Administrator

The Role

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for delivering high-quality, accurate payroll services. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring timely and compliant payroll for our waged employees across Australia and New Zealand, while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing weekly payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand in collaboration with ADP Managed Services
• Handling payroll master data changes, salary deductions, leave and tax adjustments, superannuation, and Workers’ Compensation payments
• Responding to payroll-related queries from employees, HR, and leaders with professionalism and care
• Supporting the development and communication of hourly payroll and holiday schedules
• Performing payroll reporting, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate payroll records
• Assisting with continuous improvement and implementation of new payroll processes
• Familiarity with Time & Attendance systems is a plus

About You

• Proven end-to-end payroll experience, including single touch payroll
• Strong understanding of general ledger postings and payroll reconciliations
• Sound knowledge of EA/award interpretation and Payroll Tax/Workcover legislation in AU & NZ
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Detail-focused, deadline-driven, and a natural problem-solver
• Experience with SuccessFactors is highly regarded
• A positive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
