The Role

Orora is seeking a skilled HR Systems & Reporting Analyst to optimise our critical HR systems, ensure data compliance, and drive impactful people analytics. In this key role, you’ll play a pivotal part in enhancing organisational efficiency and supporting compliance through effective HRIS and reporting processes.
As part of this dynamic opportunity, you’ll work within a mature and comprehensive, fully integrated SAP SuccessFactors environment, including Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time Off, Timesheet, Learning and Reporting.
This is a 15-month maximum-term contract covering team member parental leave, based at the Orora Head Office in Hawthorn, Melbourne, with flexible hybrid working (2 office days, the rest from home). This role reports directly to the HR Systems & Services Manager.
The key responsibilities of the HR Systems & Reporting Analyst are:
- System administration and support for Orora’s HR Systems
- Develop and maintain Orora’s People Analytics Framework
- Coordinate and support HR Systems Projects
The Team
We’re looking for a specialist, but you won’t be alone! In this role, you’ll collaborate daily with other HR Systems and Services professionals, our internal People Systems IT Solution Architect, our experienced external SuccessFactors support partner, our internal Payroll team, and other HR centres of excellence.

This role supports the entire ANZ business, providing exposure to both Head Office and site-based teams, and offering the opportunity to make a real difference in their day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities include :
1. System Administration and support for Orora’s HR Systems:
- HRIS Governance: Ensure the integrity of SAP SuccessFactors elements like Organisation, Job Architecture, and Position Management.
- User Support: Provide second-level support, manage BAU tickets, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to technical partners.
- System & Data Updates: Work with process owners (e.g., Payroll) to update system data to ensure compliance.
- Security Maintenance: Manage user access, conduct audits, recommend improvements, and engage technical support.
- Data Integrity: Build & monitor audit reports, analyse issues, identify root causes, and partner with HR Services to rectify data problems.
- Optimisation: Define requirements with SMEs, collaborate with HR Systems & Services Manager and People Systems Solution Architect, document test scripts, and support testing.
- Remediation: Resolve issues, assist HRIS Team with use cases and testing.
- Releases: Contribute to release decisions and support post-launch testing.
2. Develop and maintain People Analytics Framework:
- Deliver strategic people analytics to stakeholders. Collaborate to define, implement, and manage People Analytics Dashboards and core reports using SuccessFactors or PowerBI.
3. HR Systems Projects
- Lead or contribute to HR Systems projects, as required, following with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), role modelling best practice and coaching non-systems project team members.
About You
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR Systems and Reporting role.
- Proven experience with SAP SuccessFactors System Administration, specifically for Employee Central Core, Security, and Canvas & Table reporting.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors System Administration for Time & Leave, Performance & Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Learning is highly desirable.
- Strong background in people data analytics, with the ability to identify relevant data sets, build reports, analyse trends, pinpoint root causes, define remediation actions, and execute solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Formulas, and IF Statements.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheet, etc. is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Service Desk Plus, etc. is a plus.
- Experience in project coordination following the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation for system and process enhancements.
- A solid understanding of the Australian employment legislative framework and instruments.
