Position Summary

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Reports to the Client Delivery Supervisor and under the direction of the Sales Leadership, the Project Manager works in conjunction with assigned Client Service Manager on a regular basis to increase revenue, customer retention, new customer acquisitions and profitability. In addition, with the assistance of the assigned Client Manager compiles and distributes accurate customer information to Production to ensure a smooth handoff.

  • Perform standard duties for end-to-end production and coordination of tasks from project initiation, scheduling, print production, evaluating specs, inventory management, shipping and invoice processing.

    • Communicate directly to customers acting as the Voice of the Company and communicate directly to the Company as the Voice of the Customer

      • Art, prototypes, stock samples, ink draw downs, special requests

      • Communicates “go” or “no go” decisions.

      • Change Order approvals

    • Input customer orders into Company portals as needed; web sites, IX, etc.

    • Press approvals as needed

    • Customer website management

    • Provide accurate reporting as required by the Customer and the Company

    • Attend sales calls as needed

  • Work closely with Client Services to coordinate production stages and final delivery.

  • Maintain open and effective communication with all company personnel.

  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Perform tasks assigned by the leadership of the Company in order to meet customer demands, which may be outside the scope of the standard duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the printing/publishing industry &/OR customer service experience

    • Manufacturing experience a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of the graphics arts and printing industry preferred

  • Project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with concurrent deadlines

  • Proficiency of MS Excel and other MS Office applications

  • Strong working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily: Illustrator and Acrobat
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented.
  • Team player.

  • Self-Motivated.

  • Excellent time management skills

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalence. College degree preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as estimates, accounting ledgers and journals, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with agents, customers and other Excellent customer service skills & experience employees of the organization. Requires excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use abstract reasoning subject to supervisor approval in situations departing from accepted procedures and practices.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Requires the ability to operate a wide variety of standard office equipment, such as computer and keyboard, calculator, telephone, photocopier, etc.
