The Role: Design Production Assistant
Position Summary
The Design Production Assistant for Print Plates and Cutting Dies is responsible for supporting the production process by ordering print plates and cutting dies based on customer specifications
and completing the necessary documentation in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. They will work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that orders are
accurate and timely.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Order print plates and cutting dies based on customer specifications
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of plates and dies
- Complete necessary documentation in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, including filling out factory cards with design information
- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that orders are accurate and meet customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of orders and inventory levels
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the print plates and cutting dies
- Monitor and report on the quality of the print plates and cutting dies, and make recommendations for improvements
Qualifications
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality control processes is preferred
- • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
