Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the production department in their administrative tasks at the division level. The position reports to the Production Manager to fulfill the roles outlined below.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Calculate Daily Production Report.
  • Order Raw Materials and Office Supplies.
  • Assist with Month End Other Material inventory.
  • Assist with Shipping and Maintenance paperwork and/or reports.
  • Assist with weekly cycle counts and year end physical inventory.
  • Co-ordinate shift lunches and other celebration and special needs.
  • Answer telephones, greets visitors, receives mail/Fedex/UPS, general office functions.
  • Assist HR with application process, temp agency co-ordination, paycheck distribution.
  • Manage and distribute accounting department and other paperwork.
  • Ensures that safety training is current and complete in accordance with ISO regulations.
  • Prepares, organizes, files and tracks production records and reports.
  • Assists in updating production procedures.
  • Assists updating and maintaining the attendance program
  • Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as required.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); proficient Math and English skills;
  • General clerical skills.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in SQL and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or equivalent database
