Management Accountant

The Role

The Management Accountant will work closely with members of the finance team, supporting the Financial Controller to achieve accurate and timely consolidated information across various key areas of the business, along with the continual review and development of reporting systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all labour related accounting
• Own the repair & maintenance budget
• Own the capital expenditure related accounting
• Warehouse expense management
• Acting as the back-up resource for the new SKU creations
• Monthly Oscar X accounts update, other ad hoc tasks assigned
• The continual review and development of reporting systems and processes to maximize the efficiency and minimise the cost of reporting processes
• Ability to clearly articulate and communicate to key business partners with the Glass Group
• Adherence to group reporting deadlines

About You

Successful applicants will

• Hold a recognised Degree in Accountancy, Commerce or Business Administration
• Have a post degree Qualification/Diploma of either CA or CPA
• Demonstrate advanced spreadsheet skills with Excel and Power BI
• Minimum 6 years in a management accounting
• Show strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Possess high attention to detail and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Display well-developed interpersonal/communication skills
• Knowledge of supply chain reporting systems preferably SAP
